Can you use an existing hot water baseboard unit to put hot water into a warmboard fitted floor. Yes. However, baseboard water temps usually run significantly higher than a Warmboard system (160-180, vs 110+/-). You will need a mixing valve in order to lower the water temps for our system.

Can you get adhesive on Warmboard tubing? you can, but it should be avoided. The tubing fits snugly in the channel. And, using adhesive in the channel actually prevents the tubing from sitting flush with the surface of the panel. If you get some on the tubing, just wipe it away.
