But basements can be a little bit of a different animal – and honestly, if you’re planning on having concrete floors anyway, it may make more sense to just burying the tubing in the concrete and save ... What pipe/connective tubing is used to connect the warm board loops to a geothermal heat pump? Pex, or PERT tubing works. You would just need to use on of those found on our Approved Tubing List. If there is another brand you are curious about, just ask and we’ll let you know. Thanks for your question.
