Using a geothermal unit; is it possible to cool the house in the summertime?

Yes, it is possible to cool your house using a geothermal unit during summer. However, you typically would want a separate system. Typically, we see geothermal systems being used to heat the water, which is then run through Warmboard radiant panels for heating. For cooling, the geothermal is used with vents for cooling.

You can hook up geothermal cooling for Warmboard, but it does have more complexity, particularly when you get into humidification, condensation, and other factors that need to be taken into consideration.
