Using a geo thermal unit ; is it possible to cool the house in the summer time?

It is. However, you typically would want a separate system. Typically, we see geothermal systems being used to heat the water, which is then run through Warmboard for heating. For cooling, the geothermal is used with vents for cooling.

You can hook up geothermal cooling for Warmboard, but it does have more complexity, particularly when you get into humidification, condensation, etc…
