I recently bought a cabin in Missouri that was built in 2005/6 with a Warmboard system. I have two questions: (1) What is the process for turning off the system in the Spring and then turning it on again in the fall? (2) If I leave for a few weeks do I just turn down the thermostat, or turn down the thermostat and boiler temperature (to what) to save propane? (3) my cabin has a second floor only partially heated by Warmboard. Can I expand my existing system to cover the entire second floor? Thx!

First Question: Probably. We’d need to know more about your system before we could tell you the best way to do this. But if you were to turn the system down to 55º or so, that would save energy while also ensuring there was no risk of your pipes freezing. But give us a call on this one. 877.338.5493

Second Question: Absolutely.
