Does warmboard makes sense for limited remodel projects — like a finished room over a garage, or does the boiler/manifold (ie, warmsource) make it prohibitively costly vs. using a electric radiant system? Thanks –
Really depends on your situation. We do a fair amount of projects where someone is adding a living space over a garage. It some parts of the country, its too cost-prohibitive to run electric radiant constantly, let alone to heat an entire room (electric is generally a floor-warming option vs a whole-home heating solution).
