Hi! Your Warmboard R looks like a pretty great product! I do have a question regarding a retrofit. We pulled up the carpet to expose the floor we wish to install the radiant floor heating into. Surprise- There is an old vinyl tile floor glued to the concrete with a mastic. Could we install the Warmboard R directly on top of the vinyl tile or does it need to be placed directly onto concrete? You can install directly over the vinyl. Pulling that out seems like a hassle. As long as your fasteners grab adequately (which shouldnt be an issue) – youre good to go.
