WiFi Error
Error Code EC: MINOR
The system is not currently connected to the home WiFi network. Some features may be unavailable until the condition is corrected.
Solution:
The Smart Reset Controller (SRC) is not connected to the local WiFi network. Check that the Warmsource has power, that the correct WiFi network is selected, the SRC is connected to the router, and the local network is connected to the internet.
Warmsource Power: Locate the SRC in the Warmsource. Depending on the model, the SRC could be located behind the door of the main cabinet or the lower cabinet. When powered, the SRC will have a flashing green light and the display will respond to touch. If the SRC is unresponsive, unplug the cord to SRC for 10 seconds. If there is no change, verify the outlet has power. If there is power, but the SRC is still unresponsive, reach out to Warmboard technical support for more assistance.
Correct WiFi Network: Navigate to the Network menu in the SRC. Verify that the name of the network is the expected local WiFi network. If the network is not correct, go to a thermostat and reconnect to the local network from the Connectivity menu.Verify that the network name is updated in the SRC. You may need to exit the “Network” menu and reenter the “Network” menu before the name will update. If the network name does not update, reach out to Warmboard technical support for more assistance.
SRC Connection: From the Network menu in the SRC, test the WiFi connection by pressing the button labeled “WiFi test.” After the test runs, if the SRC fails to connect to the WiFi network, check that the WiFi antenna is connected. There should be an antenna extension cable that runs from the connection labeled “WiFi” on the bottom of the SRC up to the WiFi antenna at the top of the Warmsource unit. If these connections are secure and the SRC still fails the WiFi test, reach out to Warmboard technical support for further assistance.
