Warmboard’s Heat Loss and Mechanical Designs include room-by-room heat loss analysis. All modeled data is based on your architectural plans and the weather history of your location; information necessary to properly size the boiler and ensure each room has adequate heat on the coldest nights of the year. Our Design Project Summary includes BTU and water temperature requirements for each room. We document the required flow rates and pressure drops for each loop, essential when determining the size of the pumps, piping and distribution lines for the manifolds.
We include a complete plumbing schematic listing all the mechanical components necessary for the boiler room. We also include control schematics that document the electrical components for the heating system and the wiring details and location of each component. As an added convenience, every component is specified by brand name and model number, making the purchase of any component as painless as possible.
Warmboard designs are specific to your project and account for heating needs, occupant comfort, efficiency, reliability, and serviceability. They are uncomplicated and reduce overall cost by eliminating potential labor and material expenses. These plans incorporate all heating components, including Warmboard-S and/ or Warmboard-R. In the field, general contractors can have knowledgeable plumbers install the radiant system with complete confidence. Our designs are also a means to consistent comparisons. All heating professionals can bid to the same standard, making less work and less confusion for the General Contractor and heating professional. They also serve as a complete record of the heating system for homeowners; useful for service technicians or future homeowners in the event of a sale.
