The Scope of Warmboard Heat Loss and Mechanical Design Work:
• Warmboard designs include a room by room heat loss analysis. All data modeled is provided from your architectural plans and the weather history from your geographical location. Heating requirements for each individual room are included. This information is necessary to size the boiler, and confirm that each room will have adequate heat on the coldest night of the year.
• Warmboard design work includes a Design Project Summary. This summary documents the required flow rates for each loop and the pressure drop from each loop. Also included is the total btu’s required and design water temperatures to heat the room. This information is necessary to size the circulation pumps.
• Warmboard design work includes a complete plumbing schematic which documents all the mechanical components needed to assemble the boiler room. All components are specified by brand name and model number. This information is necessary to purchase components and assemble the mechanical room.
• Warmboard design work specifies the pipe sizing requirements for all distribution lines that serve the manifolds. Also sized is the copper piping and the piping layout schematic in the boiler room. This information is necessary to purchase and install all copper piping.
• Warmboard design work includes control schematics that document the electrical components needed to operate the heating system. All electrical components are specified by brand name and model number. Included are details of wiring and location of each electrical component. This information is necessary to purchase electrical components and assemble the controls system.
