When an individual hears that a number of high-profile, A-list celebrities are checking out the same building, he or she knows that the spot is in demand. Haute Living Magazine reports that celebs like Cameron Diaz, Blake Lively, Ryan Seacrest and Barnes & Noble chairman Len Riggio have all been spotted checking out the Walker Tower in Manhattan.

The 1929 Art Deco luxury-condominium complex is located at 212 West 18th Street. The news source reports that the building was constructed to provide the ultimate in privacy and luxury to its privileged residents.

"You could basically drive a bulldozer in your apartment and your neighbor wouldn’t hear or feel it," JDS Development principal Michael Stern told the New York Daily News. "I knew we had something that no one in New York had - an absurdly solid building."

According to Haute Living Magazine, at least one Hollywood star has put down a deposit on a unit and another has purchased two penthouses to combine the units for approximately $34 million.

The penthouses feature a number of luxury qualities that increase the comfort a resident may feel while staying at the location. For example, radiant floor heating was installed throughout the units to improve residents' satisfaction. The energy-efficient technology can be expertly programmed to provide the ultimate in luxury and comfort so that no one ever feels a random chill from an ineffective boiler or system.

"There is so much beauty in this structure," Stern told the news source. "When we’re done, we’re going to light it up so you can see how strong it is from all over."
