A Louisville, Kentucky house has been remodeled to add value and increase the comfort for the residents. The new house was featured on the 2011 Tour of Remodeled Homes, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal.

Located at 4400 Signal Hill Road, the house was chosen to be remodeled by the crew of Tour of Remodeled Homes. They were inspired by the potential that existed in the house, but noted that many improvements needed to be made, reported the news source.

New floors, countertops, cabinets and furnishings were applied to the first floor of the residence, and new fixtures were added to the bathrooms around the house in order to increase the aesthetic and comfort value, the Journal reported.

The master suite of the house was one of the areas that the remodeling crews were focused on, as the previous setup had been oriented towards style but had little to no comfort level. This was improved by the addition of radiant heated floors, allowing the residents to enjoy unprecedented warmth, according to the news source.

Hydronic radiant heating systems can also provide warmth in less time than other systems, as they tend to take two to three hours to warm up, which is less time than other technologies.
