The Carmel Valley Manor was founded in 1963 by Northern California Congregational Homes, Inc. The manor is governed by a board of directors that represent many businesses, professions, and community involvement. The manor operates under the regulations of the Departments of Social Services, Community Care division, of the State of California. The manor is a member of the Aging Services of California and the American- Association of homes and Services for the Aging.

Carmel Valley Manor is located on California’s central coast north of Big Sur and south of Monterey. It is situated on the north-side of Carmel Valley’s hill and valley floor. Surrounding the manor are golf courses, farm ranches and vinyards. While the Carmel Coast and it’s surrounding towns are often foggy, the Carmel Valley stays mostly sunny year round. Because of its somewhat coastal location, the Carmel Valley gets the benefit of the sea breeze sweeping through the valley keeping the air clear and fresh.

Warmboard Recently visited Carmel Valley Manor and installed the Warmboard Radiant Subfloor panels in one of its suites. This suite now has 608 square feet of radiant heat in its total 750 square feet of floor space. This is the first residence in the Carmel Valley Manor to implement Warmboard Radiant Subfloor. The boiler is already in which made installation of Warmboard Radiant Subfloor that much simpler. Each residence in the manor is connected to the facility’s hot water source, so no new water heating device is needed. The water pumps and gauges were still required and installed. This new addition of radiant heat will deliver energy efficient heat to the suite. The heating time will be dramatically increased, and there won’t be any air pollution caused by a forced air heating system.

There are a variety of sizes and styles from which to select a private suite in Carmel Valley Manor. Each resident can also choose their own furnishings and décor along with bringing in their personal valuables and keepsakes. Every suite is connected to the manor’s lawns and gardens through either a balcony or patio. The Manor’s beautiful, lush lawns and gardens are landscaped and kept fresh and clean by the staff.

The Carmel Valley Manor offers meals prepared by trained chefs. Each meal is made with freshness, variety, and nutrition in mind. The Health Center at the manor is licensed as a skilled nursing facility by the Stare of California and is always available for residents of the manor.
